Summer Youth Empowerment Program
The Korean Resource Center is launching various programs targeted for youth and young adults.
The Summer Youth Empowerment program seeks to develop future community leaders and focuses on social justice and volunteering, visual production, culture, identity, and SAT I classes.
- For Who? High School Students (8th through 11th)
- Date: June 30th – August 7th
- When? Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Content:
- SAT I classes
- Visual production
- Culture, poongmul
- Social justice & community service
- How to apply:
- Submit application, interview, pay $50 fees
- Application is available at krcla.org/english and KRC office
- Seating limit: 12 students
- May 16th (Friday)
- Acceptance notifications by May 20th
- Benefits: Lunch provided, volunteer hours acknowledgment (10 hours)

During this critical moment in our community, KRC has created a place for young people to discuss immigrant and civil rights issues, develop their leadership, and redefine their identity as Korean Americans through education, the arts, and culture.
